I DID IT!!!
I’m allowed to stay in Canada until Oct 15th!!
Thanks to those who helped me
My journey to the unknown can keep going!

Je l’ai fait!!!
J’ai reussit a obtenir un visa me permettant de rester au Canada jusqu’au 15 octobre.

Today

Today is my second round to the border. More papers with me, it’s sunny, and this time no salad between my teeth. Let’s go!

C’est parti pour mon deuxieme tour a la fontiere! Cette fois plus de papiers avec moi, il fait beau, et je n’ai plus de salade coince entre les dents. Go !

My first attempt is a…

….a failure, unfortunately. The problem was that they wanted an official paper to prove that I am able to support myself for the time I asked (6 months).
Which might be tricky given that my bank is in France.
So, second try: get this paper thanks to my ” french connections”, return to the border (I know, I love Niagara Falls.. , ask for 6 months, if not granted ask for 3.
If this is not working, make an online request as soon as possible and pay the fees (75$). I would be allowed to stay in Canada until the outcome of this one granted or not, which is going to buy me some time to bounce.
Suspense…

…..est malheureusement un echec. Le probleme etant qu’ils voulaient un papier officile afin de prouver que je suis capable de subvenir a mes besoins pour la periode demande (6mois).
Ce qui peut etre delicat etant donne que ma banque est en France.
Donc, prochaine etape: Obtenir ce papier par ma “french connection”, retourner a la frontiere (Je sais, je dois vraiment aimer Niagara Falls.. , redemander pour 6 mois, A defaut d’etre accorde demander pour 3.
Si cela ne marche toujours pas faire une demande en ligne des que possible et payer les frais (75$). Dans ce cas-la je serai de toute facon autorise a rester au Canada jusqu’a la deliberation, ce qui me fera gagner du temps pour rebondir.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is an important date as I’m going to the border to renew my visa, that I hope to be granted.
0, 3 or 6 months, the very future steps of my adventure rely on this event. Cross the fingers with me!

Demain est une date importante etant donne que je vais me presenter a la frontiere pour renouveller mon visa.
0, 3 ou 6 mois, les chemins que je vais devoir emprunter a l’issue de cet evenement reposent entierement dessus. Croisez vos doigts avec moi!
